Pre-recorded Zoom art lesson

I am offering this lesson as an “on demand” class where you will hear the participants asking questions along with me explaining my process throughout the lesson.

This lesson was painted with PanPastels and colored pencil on Pastelmat.

I usually draw a continuous line drawing as our warm-up and then discuss what supplies I plan on using for the class which in this case was a selection of PanPastel and colored pencil. I used a piece of toned and matted Pastelmat. In addition, I used a couple of “SOFFT” tools to apply the pastels which are PanPastel’s applicators with a sponge tip in different shapes and are used like brushes to dip into the pastel pans and apply the pastel to the surface of the substrate.
